- Henry David Thoreau

What is money? Is money the root of all evil? Is money a measure of success in life? Is money something we "need?" Is money something to be avoided? The answer to all those questions is No. Strip away the emotional baggage that most people carry regarding the subject of money, and you find that money is simply a medium of exchange, an advancement on the barter system. Today, take a few minutes to write what "money" means to you. Then examine what you wrote to see if you can remove the emotional aspects of your thinking about money.
