Life is Now
Life is now.
There was never a time when your life was not now,
nor will there ever be.
- Eckhart Tolle
Carpe Diem (Seize The Day)
Rejoice while you are alive; enjoy the day;
live life to the fullest;
make the most of what you have.
It is later than you think.
- Horace
"Seize The Day" (Carpe Diem) is sometimes interpreted as an invitation to party irresponsibly - without regard for the consequences. My interpretation of Carpe Diem is to seize the day in the sense of honoring the importance and sanctity of each day we live. It is so easy to delay the important parts of living until another day. But don't do that... Do something truly important Today.
Make Today count. Today - each Today - is the most important day of your life.
None is a failure who is enjoying life.
- William Feather

Beauty from Contemplation
The beauty does not live out there; the beauty's in my eyes.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Your point of view sets you up well in advance
for how you view the events as they unfold.
- Mary Anne Radmacher
Nothing is beautiful from every point of view.
- Horace
There is no absolute point of view from which real
and ideal can be finally separated and labelled.
- T. S. Eliot
Beauty in things exists in the mind which contemplates them.

For Those in Need of Comfort for the Past and Courage for the Future
Every calamity is to be overcome by endurance.
- Virgil
Courage doesn't always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice
at the end of the day, saying,
"I will try again tomorrow."
- Mary Anne Radmacher
It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.
- Vince Lombardi
The harder you fall the higher you bounce.
- Horace
Success is not final, failure is not fatal.
It is the courage to continue that counts.
- Winston Churchill
The greatest test of courage on earth
is to bear defeat without losing heart.
- Robert Ingersoll
If you can't fly then run,
if you can't run then walk,
if you can't walk then crawl,
but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.
- Martin Luther King Jr.
In the face of unthinkable catastrophe,
hold on to your courage, your moral values,
and your vision for a brighter tomorrow.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Choose your goal and keep your eye on it. Never give up.
Perhaps you will need to change your plan
and approach you goal from a different direction, but don't quit.
Keep thinking. Keep re-planning. Keep going.

Either Accept It, or Change It
If it's important enough to complain about,
it is important enough to take action on.
Either accept it, or change it.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
There are three constants in life...
change, choice and principles.
- Stephen Covey
To believe in something, and not to live it, is dishonest.
- Mohandas (Mahatma) Gandhi
