When one has suffered a great tragedy in their life sometimes it is difficult to overcome that inner grief - and when one makes false allegations/accusations against an innocent person - one has to learn not to accept such falsehoods - but at times when it is severe falsehoods against ones name - it can be difficult not to take part of situation into one self.
